Polly O’Gorman, Pretty Muddy event manager, said: “It’s our third year staging Pretty Muddy at Sefton Park and its always a great day with everyone having lots of fun.

“Every day around 110 people are diagnosed with cancer in the North West.

“That’s why we need women of all shapes and sizes to pull on their leggings, lace up their trainers and show their support at these supportive, none competitive events.

“We always have a fantastic atmosphere and a great response at Race for Life in Liverpool. It’s also great fun to spectate at so if you’ve sponsored someone why not come and cheer them on.

“You will get very muddy so don’t forget to bring a carrier bag and change of clothes too!”
