Lukaku in running for PFA Player and Young Player of the Year

Romelu Lukaku is in the running for two accolades at this year’s PFA Awards.

The Everton striker will go up against Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Harry Kane, Alexis Sanchez, Eden Hazard and N’Golo Kante for the Player of the Year honour.

Lukaku is set to battle with Kane again after they were also nominated for Young Player of the Year alongside Dele Alli, Michael Keane, Jordan Pickford and Leroy Sane.

This season the Belgian became the Blues’ leading Premier League marksman as well as becoming the first player to score 20 league goals in a campaign.

From his past 31 outings this term, Lukaku has recorded 23 goals.
