Three of Liverpool’s dog friendly pubs are in the top spots in the race to become the Number 1 dog friendly pub in the North West.
The Dog Friendly Pub Awards are currently asking for voters to continue to vote for their favourite dog friendly North West pub however Liverpool is currently ahead as the home to the top three pubs.
In third place is The Storrsdale pub located in Allerton which is described as a “Traditional Local that spoils dogs and sometimes their humans…. Always a bowl of water and a treat available… and more importantly a cuddle”. The Storrsdale is currently just 54 votes behind the second place pub.
The Dead Crafty Beer Company based in the city centre is poised in second place with 331 votes. Voters on the website have described the craft beer pub as “Very welcoming bar whether you have 2 legs or 4”.
Running away with the competition in first place is The Caledonia which currently has 450 votes. The Caledonia are the current champions having won the competition in 2016 to be named No 1 Dog Friendly pub in the North West. The pub even has two resident Dachshunds.
