Hosted by National Museums Liverpool has unveiled a catalogue of festive merriments for 2018 as it officially launches its Christmas party offering for the seventh consecutive year.
Iconic venues such as the Merseyside Maritime Museum and World Museum will provide a unique backdrop for a range of all-inclusive party nights, set to take place between Friday, November 16 and Saturday, December 22.
Guests can expect to be greeted with a sparkling drinks reception before indulging in a festive two-course carvery menu, accompanied by all-inclusive drinks. To follow, party-goers can enjoy music and dancing until late.
Head of Events at National Museums Liverpool Katie Roberts said: “National Museums Liverpool is delighted to launch its Christmas party package for winter 2018. Our festive celebrations take months of planning and it is fantastic to have already received such a positive response from the region’s corporate clientele.
“With a selection of spectacular spaces to choose from within our internationally-important museums and galleries, we can guarantee that guests will have a memorable experience, dancing the night away surrounded by beautiful art and historic artefacts.”
With a two-course carvery menu on offer, guests can choose from roast British turkey and stuffing, maple-glazed gammon or the vegetarian option of butternut squash, spinach and lentil pithivier, each served with all the trimmings. For dessert, diners can enjoy an orange and almond cake with spiced plum and vanilla mascarpone, while an all-inclusive bar offers unlimited drinks including beers, wines, spirits and soft drinks.
Hosted by National Museums Liverpool also holds private parties in its venues with spaces to suit celebrations of all sizes, from intimate dining at Sudley House and Lady Lever Art Gallery to drinks receptions at the Museum of Liverpool for up to 1,000 guests. Bespoke dining or set menus are on offer, all made in-house by its team of chefs.
