Five Everton players are set to remain in limbo over their long-term futures at the club.
Leon Osman, Darron Gibson, Steven Pienaar, Tony Hibbert and Felipe Mattioni have yet to receive any indication over their future with the Blues beyond the expiry of their existing deals, which are set to run this summer.
In recent weeks, Roberto Martinez has secured the long-term futures of Muhamed Besic and Bryan Oviedo while improved contract offers for Ross Barkley and John Stones remain high on his agenda.
But the Everton manager insists that any potential discussions over players’ futures are set to be shelved until the end of this season, with an FA Cup semi-final and 10 Premier League games to contend.
He said: “At the moment we have five players out of contract at the end of the season and every individual situation is going to be managed once the season ends.
“There is no change in that. There were the things we had to do this season, some players had triggers in their contracts and that has been done.
“Now we need to focus on the football side, see how good we can be in the next 10 games in the league and see how far we can go in the FA Cup.
“That is a team period. We will then have the moment to talk with individuals
