Sean Dyche is set to receive a six-figure payout from his Everton sacking.
Dyche was deposed shortly before last month’s FA Cup tie with Peterborough after telling owners The Friedkin Group that he had taken the club as far as he could.
But despite presiding over three wins in his final 19 games at Goodison Park, the former defender is still in line for a financial windfall worth hundreds of thousands.
According to the Times, the figure was deferred in the settlement on his exit and will be paid once the Blues’ Premier League status has been mathematically secured.
Dyche ensured Everton maintained their top-flight standing during the previous two seasons but left with the club sitting just one point away from the relegation zone.
Since the former Burnley boss left the hot seat, David Moyes has racked up four wins in his opening six matches back at the helm and is up to 14th in the table.
