Ryan Gravenberch, Alisson and Conor Bradley are in contention for Liverpool’s clash with Everton.
Gravenberch withdrew from the Netherlands’ latest international camp due to a knock picked up during the Carabao Cup final defeat to Newcastle United.
Alisson also returned early from Brazil duty after suffering a concussion in their World Cup qualifier with Colombia despite allaying supporters’ fears.
But Slot revealed on Tuesday that the trio have returned to training ahead of their 246th Merseyside derby showdown with David Moyes’ side at Anfield.
He said: “Ryan is OK although we have to train one more time, but he is OK.
“Ali trained with us as well. The last check has to be made, I think that’s this afternoon after the session [to determine] if he is available to play.
“Conor is training with us again but we have to make a decision on whether he is playing and if playing means coming in or starting. That’s something I keep for myself.
“But he’s only had a few sessions after being out for quite long with a repetitive injury so we have to make a smart decision with that as well.”
The Reds’ head coach also downplayed the ongoing uncertainty over Trent Alexander-Arnold’s future as he closes in on a free transfer to Real Madrid.
“His situation is unfortunately that he’s injured,” added Slot.
“Otherwise people would have probably spoken about him that he had one or two brilliant performances for the England team.
“But he’s injured, and for him that means he’s fully focused on his recovery, and for us that means that we try to help him to be back as soon as he can.
“For the rest, of course, for eight months it went a bit up and down maybe with all kinds of talks about him, Virgil [van Dijk] or Mo [Salah].
“But we’ve never been focused on those talks, we’ve been focused on what we have to do.
“For Virgil and Mo that is trying to win the Merseyside derby and for Trent it is making sure he’s fit as soon as he can.”
